HCL will further train the best Tanzania engineers using the best technology to deliver quality engineering solutions for the sustainable long-term development of Tanzania. We believe that our reputation is the foundation of our future and we must therefore pursue best performance whilst delivering quality solutions and excellent service to our Clients.

Since establishment Howard Consulting Limited has invested heavily in the Health & Safety of its staff, safety systems and safe designs using a well-tried process system of risk assessments.
Howard Consulting Limited has a rigorous environmental policy to ensure we safeguard all aspects of the environment during construction activities. Our specifications contain clauses on the environmental regulations to be followed on project sites and all aspects of our design consider environmental aspects during our risk assessment phase of engineering. We insist all our sites are registered under Occupational Health and Safety Act of 2003.
Since its inception Howard Consulting Limited has been providing training and industrial placements for young Tanzanian engineers. Each year we provide placements for at least four young engineers.
Our staff are our main asset and therefore Howard Consulting Limited is committed to developing and investing in the skills of our staff. Internal and external courses are held on a regular basis. Performance reviews are held biannually to encourage staff development.
Howard Consulting Limited is committed to providing quality engineering that fully conforms to Client’s requirements and have therefore put in place quality management procedures that conform to recognized standards of practice. All services provided by the company incorporate Quality Assurance Procedures, which are designed to provide a systematic, planned and cost-effective approach to the companies’ activities.

To provide at least 5 training placements per year for students from University colleges around Tanzania.
Howard Consulting is committed to the principles of occupational health and safety in relation to the welfare of its personnel. We seek continuous performance improvement in these areas through innovation and education. We are committed to the target of “zero” injuries.
Corporate and project safety management systems provide the framework for the identification, management and mitigation of hazards. On each project, Howard Consulting prepares and implements detailed health and safety management plans by working with all parties to ensure a safe working environment.
